1. The service
VOID is a paid Chrome extension that deletes browsing data (history, site storage, open tabs) according to natural-language instructions, using an AI model to select what matches. VOID includes:
- a preview of everything selected for deletion, with per-domain and per-entry deselection;
- a dry-run mode (enabled by default) that simulates purges without deleting anything;
- an Undo capability for history entries, restored from a local encrypted archive ("Spectre", default retention 30 days).
2. Plans and billing
- Free: 5 AI purges per calendar month.
- Pro Monthly: 2.99 €/month, unlimited AI purges (fair use).
- Pro Annual: 24.99 €/year, same terms, billed once a year.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the extension (Manage subscription → Stripe portal); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — the service stays usable until then, no partial-period refunds.
VAT: TVA non applicable, article 293 B du CGI (franchise de TVA, micro-entreprise). [À confirmer : cette mention vaut tant que tu restes sous les seuils de la franchise ; au-delà, basculer sur « prix TTC, TVA incluse ».]
Right of withdrawal (EU consumers) & refunds:
- By law, EU consumers have a 14-day withdrawal right on distance contracts. For digital content supplied immediately, you expressly consent to immediate performance at checkout and acknowledge that you thereby waive your withdrawal right once the service (first AI purge) has begun. This consent is collected by a mandatory checkbox at checkout (Stripe).
- Commercial goodwill (on top of legal rights): 14-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription (monthly or annual), no questions asked — email dev@hilali.fr from your account address and we refund via Stripe. Applies once per customer.
- Renewals are not refundable, except where the law requires it.
3. Your responsibilities — irreversible deletion
- Review the preview before every purge. You are shown exactly which domains and entries will be affected and can deselect any of them.
- History entries deleted with the History layer can be restored via Undo while they remain in the Spectre archive. Cookies, site storage, and closed tabs CANNOT be restored. Deleting cookies logs you out of the affected sites.
- Purges covering more than 60 % of your history require an explicit additional confirmation; this safeguard does not replace your own review.
- You must not abuse the service (automated scraping of the API, sharing your account, attempting to bypass quotas or rate limits). We may suspend accounts that do.
4. AI decisions are probabilistic
The AI selects content based on your instruction and may make mistakes (false positives and false negatives). The preview exists for this reason: you are the final validation step. We are not liable for data deleted after you confirmed a purge, except where liability cannot be excluded by law. In any case, to the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability towards you is capped at the amounts you actually paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim (or, if you never paid, 0 € — the free tier is provided as-is).
5. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service (the AI provider, Cloudflare, or Stripe may experience outages). If the AI is unavailable, VOID falls back to a degraded, category-based selection which is clearly labeled as such in the interface.
6. Termination
You can stop using VOID at any time (cancel the subscription, uninstall the extension). We may terminate accounts for breach of these terms, with notice where reasonable.
7. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law.
Before any legal action, contact us at dev@hilali.fr — we aim to resolve disputes amicably within 30 days.
If no agreement is reached: EU consumers may refer the dispute to a consumer mediator — Médiateur de la consommation : CM2C — Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France — https://www.cm2c.net. Nothing here deprives consumers of the mandatory protections and forum rights granted by the law of their country of residence. Failing mediation, disputes fall to the competent French courts (Paris).
